Job Description : Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO) for Python application deployments, integrating automated security scanning and vulnerability gates.

- Manage and optimize our source code repositories using Azure Repos, enforcing Git branching policies and resolving complex version control issues (e.g., merge conflicts) to maintain repository health.

- Implement GitOps workflows within ADO to ensure secure, declarative application delivery.

- Architect, develop, and manage version-controlled infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration in Azure.

- Troubleshoot advanced Terraform execution issues, including drift detection limitations, cyclic dependencies, Azure state callbacks, and pipeline deadlocks.

- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using Kubernetes in a cloud environment.

- Configure pipeline deployment strategies by implementing release gates, manual approvals, and automated pre/post-deployment checks.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and disaster recovery.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or IT Automation roles.

- Expert-level proficiency with Azure Repos for source code management and resolving complex Git merge conflicts.

- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, defining safe upgrade strategies, and handling infrastructure state.

- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD tools and YAML-based pipelines (specifically Azure DevOps).

- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native services.

- Experience implementing GitOps and DevSecOps practices.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly regarding complex CI/CD and infrastructure issues.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

- Knowledge of networking and security concepts in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with other DevOps tools and technologies (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Ansible).
