Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Developer with strong expertise in Azure Function Apps and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. This role requires excellent technical leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage directly with clients while delivering scalable, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using Azure Function Apps.

- Build scalable cloud solutions using TypeScript and Azure services.

- Lead technical discussions, solution design, and architecture reviews.

- Propose cost-effective, business-driven cloud solutions aligned with client requirements.

- Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve challenges.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Integrate Azure Functions with APIs, databases, messaging services, and other Azure resources.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and reliability.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.

- Quickly onboard into existing projects and contribute to ongoing feature development with minimal ramp-up time.

Mandatory Skills:

- 7+ years of software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Extensive experience in Azure Function Apps development.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

- Experience designing scalable, secure, and serverless cloud solutions.

- Ability to lead architecture discussions and recommend cost-effective technical solutions.

- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Ability to independently handle technical discussions and project deliverables.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Azure API Management.

- Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hub, and Service Bus.

- Experience with Azure Storage Accounts, Cosmos DB, or Azure SQL Database.

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform) is an advantage.
