Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Description :

- Manage and optimize security services: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy, Firewall, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 Defender.

- Secure advanced Azure services including:

i. Azure AI protecting models, data pipelines, and APIs.

i. Azure Cognitive Search & Document Intelligence safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance.

i. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) container security, network policies, identity, and runtime protection.

- Implement and maintain O365 security controls: Exchange Online Protection, DLP, sensitivity labels, MFA/conditional access, and insider risk management.

- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and O365 integrations.

- Monitor, detect, and respond to threats across Azure and O365.

- Automate governance and compliance checks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform.

Required Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience managing security in Microsoft Azure and O365 (5+ years cloud security, 3+ years Azure/O365 focus).

- Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, and privileged identity management.

- Demonstrated experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or advanced Azure workloads.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security controls (Defender suite, DLP, sensitivity labels, identity protection).

- Background in incident response and remediation in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications: AZ-500, SC-100, MS-500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administrator), or equivalent.
