Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Azure cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps automation, cloud security, and enterprise-scale deployments. You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to build resilient cloud platforms while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure following Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework.

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

- Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting.

- Design and implement secure networking solutions including Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.

- Configure and manage Azure Identity services including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management.

- Deploy and manage Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, and containerized workloads.

- Implement cloud governance using Azure Policy, Management Groups, Resource Locks, and Azure Blueprints.

- Secure cloud environments using Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Security Center, and vulnerability management practices.

- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Diagnostics.

- Optimize Azure infrastructure for high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance-related issues.

- Collaborate with software engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.

- Establish cloud standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.

- Mentor junior cloud engineers and participate in technical design reviews.

Required Skills:

- 812 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and enterprise infrastructure management.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and Zero Trust architecture.

- Experience implementing monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning.

- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

- Experience with FinOps and Azure Cost Management.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.

- Experience working in enterprise-scale, multi-subscription Azure environments.

- Exposure to hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
