The Senior Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Build cloud-native infrastructure aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Optimize Azure resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration management.
- Standardize infrastructure deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure version-controlled, reusable infrastructure templates.
3. DevOps & CI/CD:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Automate application deployment, testing, and release management processes.
- Improve software delivery through continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline DevOps workflows.
4. Automation & Platform Engineering:
- Develop automation scripts using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and scripting languages.
- Automate operational tasks, infrastructure maintenance, and deployment activities.
- Improve operational efficiency through Infrastructure Automation and Configuration Management.
- Implement self-service deployment models where applicable.
5. Containerization & Cloud Services:
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure Container Apps.
- Manage Azure Functions for serverless application development.
- Configure Azure Storage solutions for enterprise applications.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and security of cloud-native services.
6. Security & Governance:
- Implement Azure security best practices using RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with organizational governance and security standards.
- Manage identity, access control, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
- Support vulnerability assessments and cloud security initiatives.
7. Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and control operational costs.
- Ensure system availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
8. Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Security teams, QA, and Product teams to deliver cloud solutions.
- Mentor junior cloud and DevOps engineers.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and cloud strategy planning.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and cloud automation standards.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud and DevOps Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Strong knowledge of Azure CLI, PowerShell, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Azure Networking, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Expertise in RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), monitoring tools, and cloud governance.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or Go for cloud automation.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud governance.
- Familiarity with Azure Cost Management and FinOps practices.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certifications.
- Experience working in Agile/DevSecOps environments and enterprise cloud transformation programs.
