Role Overview :

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer based in Bangalore, you will serve as a technical anchor for our cloud infrastructure initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing system reliability, enhancing security posture, and ensuring seamless scalability for mission-critical applications. By bridging the gap between development and operations, you will directly influence the efficiency of our delivery cycles and the overall performance of our client platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage scalable AWS cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Design and implement automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins to accelerate code deployment and reduce manual intervention.

- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker to streamline application deployment and orchestration across various stages.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled environment provisioning.

- Automate routine operational tasks and system administration workflows using Python and Shell scripting to improve team productivity.

- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex production issues within Linux-based environments to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex AWS cloud infrastructures with a deep understanding of VPCs, IAM, EC2, S3, and RDS.

- Proven ability to build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.

- Strong proficiency in containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, for managing microservices architectures.

- Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to manage multi-environment cloud deployments.

- Solid programming and scripting capabilities in Python and Shell to automate infrastructure management and system tasks.

- Deep operational knowledge of Linux system administration, including performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a collaborative, hybrid-work environment.

- Candidates should possess 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in DevOps and cloud engineering roles.
