We are looking for a highly hands-on AWS Cost Optimization Specialist who can go beyond dashboards and generic FinOps recommendations to drive real infrastructure-level savings across large-scale cloud environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the complete lifecycle of cloud optimization from deep spend analysis to implementation and cross-team execution.

Your technical environment :

- Heavy Serverless : Extensive Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions

- Data-Intensive : RDS Aurora, DynamoDB, S3 data lakes, Redshift, EMR/Databricks

- Container Workloads : ECS Fargate, EKS clusters

- Compute-Heavy ML : AnyScale deployments

- Multi-region deployments with complex cost allocation needs

- TypeScript/CDK-based infrastructure definitions

Key responsibilities :

- Conduct deep technical analysis of AWS spend across all services/accounts

- Hands-on implementation : modify CDK constructs, optimize Lambda functions, configure RI/SP

- Build cost optimization tools using our TypeScript stack

- Work directly with product engineering teams to drive adoption

- Optimize AnyScale ML workloads and CloudWatch?New Relic migration

Required :

- 6+ years AWS experience with proven track record of delivering significant annual savings

- Strong programming in TypeScript/Node.js or Python

- Expert-level RDS Aurora optimization, serverless cost patterns, container rightsizing

- Self-directed with ability to influence without authority across engineering teams

- Experience with observability platforms and database optimization

Preferred :

- Experience with North Cloud, Mission Cloud, or similar enterprise cost platforms

- Background in logistics/delivery/transportation technology

- ML infrastructure cost optimization experience

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
