About the Role :

Were seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer who brings deep backend development expertise, a strong command of AWS services, and the ability to architect and build scalable, serverless cloud applications.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js and TypeScript, with hands-on experience across the AWS serverless stack and exposure to Auth0 for identity management.

While the focus is backend-heavy, a flexible approach and willingness to contribute to frontend tasks will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using AWS cloud-native and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)

- Build and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Implement authentication and authorization flows using Auth0.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions.

- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of backend systems.

- Handle API/service integrations and contribute to frontend development when required (React/Angular/Vue).

- Apply DevOps best practices : CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.

- Diagnose and resolve performance and scalability issues across the cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 58 years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.

- Proven experience with AWS cloud services, especially serverless architecture.

- Advanced proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

- Experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.

- Solid understanding and hands-on usage of Auth0 (identity and access management).

- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes (nice to have).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have :

- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer Associate, Solutions Architect).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
