Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET MVC Developer / Tech Lead with deep, hands-on expertise in the ASP.NET MVC framework and the broader Microsoft technology stack.

The ideal candidate should possess strong architectural judgment for MVC-based enterprise applications, solid engineering fundamentals, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills. This role requires strong command of the MVC request lifecycle, Razor views, C# internals, scalable application architecture, and the ability to lead technical discussions with clients and engineering teams on legacy-to-modern MVC application strategy.

Database :

- Microsoft SQL Server (Mandatory)

- Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning

DevOps & Tools :

- Good understanding of DevOps practices

- Exposure to containerized ecosystem (Docker / Kubernetes preferred)

- CI/CD pipelines

- Git, JIRA, Azure DevOps

Strong C# & ASP.NET MVC Fundamentals (Mandatory) :

Candidates must possess strong hands-on expertise in core C#, .NET fundamentals, and the internal workings of the ASP.NET MVC framework. Required expertise includes :

- Deep understanding of the MVC request/response lifecycle, routing engine, and action filters

- Strong understanding of OOPs, SOLID principles, and design patterns

- Deep understanding of async/await, multithreading, and task parallelism

- Knowledge of memory management and garbage collection

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Strong debugging and root cause analysis capabilities

- Understanding of dependency injection and application lifecycle in MVC applications

- Experience in performance optimization and scalable application design

- Strong understanding of LINQ execution and API performance

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale ASP.NET MVC web applications

- Architect controller/action structures, routing strategies, and Razor view hierarchies

- Lead and mentor development teams working on MVC-based applications

- Participate in architecture discussions and technical solutioning

- Work directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs consumed by MVC front-ends and external systems

- Review code and enforce MVC and general engineering best practices

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis

- Ensure application scalability, security, maintainability, and performance

- Take ownership of technical deliverables and production deployments

- Support DevOps initiatives and deployment automation

Required Expertise :

- 8-10+ years of hands-on .NET development experience, with a significant portion in ASP.NET MVC

- Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale MVC applications

- Excellent understanding of software architecture and design principles

- Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills

- Experience in handling teams and mentoring developers

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience

- Ability to drive technical discussions independently

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with Fortune 500 / enterprise clients

- Experience modernizing or migrating legacy ASP.NET MVC applications to .NET Core / .NET 8+

- Exposure to Microservices architecture

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development / Vibe Coding tools

- Strong understanding of latest C# features and modern engineering practices
