Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Senior API Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs for Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The role involves integrating third-party systems, optimizing API performance, ensuring secure data exchange, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

- Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services with external applications and enterprise systems.

- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions.

- Implement API authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

- Optimize API performance and troubleshoot integration issues.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

- Develop reusable integration components using JavaScript and SFCC best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Maintain technical documentation for APIs and integrations.

- Ensure compliance with coding standards and development best practices.

Required Skills :

- 5- 8 years of overall IT experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) API Development.

- Experience in REST API and SOAP Web Services development.

- Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware.

- Experience with JavaScript and server-side development.

- Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and API Keys.

- Experience in API security and performance optimization.

- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience integrating SFCC with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party applications.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and deployment strategies.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Mandatory Requirements :

- UAN Verification is mandatory.

- Background Verification (BGV) is mandatory.

- Ability to join within the client's required timeline.

- Willingness to work from Pune or as per the project requirements.
