Senior Android Frontend Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Android Frontend Developer to join our growing mobile team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Android applications with a focus on UI/UX and performance. Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced front-end features for Android applications.

- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, backend developers) to define and ship new features.

- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin/Java code.

- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

- Maintain codebase versioning with Git and follow best practices in code reviews.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android trends, techniques, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

- Expertise in Jetpack Compose and/or XML-based layouts.

- Solid understanding of Android UI frameworks, custom views, and animations.

- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

- Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or MVP.

- Good understanding of Material Design principles.

- Strong knowledge of the Android ecosystem and libraries like Retrofit, Room, Hilt/Dagger, Coroutines, etc.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise).

- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).

- Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store.

- Familiarity with agile/scrum development process.
