We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with deep expertise in Android AOSP (Automotive) and VHAL (Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer) implementation.

The ideal candidate will work on Android-based automotive platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate system components for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, integrate, and maintain Android AOSP components for automotive platforms.

- Implement and customize VHAL (Vehicle HAL) as per project and OEM requirements.

- Work on Android framework layers, HAL, and system services.

- Collaborate with BSP, middleware, and application teams for seamless system integration.

- Debug and resolve performance, stability, and compatibility issues at system level.

- Participate in system bring-up, testing, and validation of AOSP builds on target hardware.

- Optimize software modules for better performance and reliability.

- Prepare design documentation and technical reports.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in Android platform development.

- Strong experience in AOSP customization, Android framework, and VHAL implementation.

- Good understanding of HAL layers, system services, and Android build system.

- Experience with C/C++ and Java in embedded Android environments.

- Hands-on with Android source code compilation, Board bring-up, and debugging tools (ADB, logcat, GDB).

- Exposure to Automotive Android or In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems preferred.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
