We are seeking an experienced Senior AEM Forms Developer to work with a leading Australian MNC.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize AEM Forms solutions with strong expertise in Adaptive Forms, integrations, and form data models.

This role requires deep technical capability along with the ability to lead, mentor teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building scalable digital form solutions, improving existing form performance, and driving best practices across the AEM platform.

Key Responsibilities :

AEM Forms Development :

- Design and develop AEM Adaptive Forms, workflows, and form fragments

- Implement Form Data Models (FDM) and configure data sources

- Create custom components, templates, and reusable form assets

- Configure validation rules, scripting, layouts, and UI behavior

- Integrate AEM Forms with :

REST / SOAP APIs
Backend systems
Databases
Third-party applications

System Integration & Performance :

- Implement AEM Forms with backend services

- Build secure and scalable submit and document generation processes

- Optimize form rendering performance and load time

- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments

Automation, Governance & Documentation :

- Follow coding standards, version control, and DevOps pipelines

- Prepare technical design documents and solution architecture

- Ensure accessibility and compliance standards

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor junior developers and review code

- Work closely with:

Architects
QA teams
UI/UX designers
Business analysts

- Participate in Sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and client discussions

Required Technical Skills :

Mandatory experience in :

- AEM Forms

- AEM Adaptive Forms

- Form Data Model (FDM)

- AEM Workflows

Strong hands-on expertise in :

- Java / J2EE

- HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript

- OSGi, Sling, JCR

- REST / SOAP integrations

- JSON / XML

Experience with :

- Performance tuning & caching

- Reusable component design

- Secure form handling and submission processes

Good to Have :

- Experience with AEM Sites

- PDF generation / XDP / XFA

- Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD pipelines

- Adobe certifications

- Exposure to BFSI, Telecom, Public sector projects
