Key Responsibilities :

- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend applications using Scala.

- Write clean, concise, and efficient code following best practices.

- Work on backend development using Scala, Java, or HIVE as required.

- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data processing modules.

- Work extensively with SQL/Oracle databases including writing and optimizing complex queries.

- Collaborate with front-end teams, contributing to JavaScript-related integrations when needed.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and daily standups.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across backend components.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and work independently when required.

- Ensure high code quality, performance, and reliability.

Required Skill Set :

- Minimum 4 years of strong hands-on experience in Scala development.

- Experience with Java backend development or HIVE.

- Proficiency in database development with SQL/Oracle.

- Solid understanding of backend architecture and design principles.

- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or equivalent).

- Experience working with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and analyze problems effectively.

Nice-to-Have (Optional) :

- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
