Senior Scala Developer

Experience Level : 6 to 8 years.

Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad.

Notice Period : 1 Day.

Role Overview :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into detailed technical solutions, designing and implementing performant functionality, and ensuring system reliability and scalability on cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed designs, solutions, and functional specifications.

- Design, develop, and implement new functionality using Scala, following best practices and approved coding standards.

- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability and meet error budgets.

- Fix vulnerabilities and assess upgrade/patch needs to maintain application and infrastructure security.

- Ensure scalability, performance, and high availability of applications deployed on Kubernetes and cloud environments.

Primary Skills (Non-Negotiable) :

- Expertise in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, or Argo.

- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, scaling, and management on AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog or Splunk.

- Strong experience working with AWS managed services.
