Position : Scala Developer

Client : Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS)

Location : Kolkata, Pune , Bangalore and Hyderabad

Key Skills Required :

- 5+ years of experience in Scala development

- Strong experience in Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play, and Cats Effect

- Expertise in Microservices Architecture and REST API development

- Hands-on experience with Scala Typelevel libraries like Cats and Shapeless

- Good understanding of Functional Programming concepts

- Experience with AWS services : ECS, ECR, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation/CDK

- Hands-on experience in Docker and containerization

- Strong knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous processing

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Scala

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews

- Ensure performance optimization, logging, and error handling best practices

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery
