SAS - DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated systems that enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and reliable infrastructure management.

Youll collaborate closely with software development, QA, and IT teams to streamline the development lifecycle, enhance system reliability, and optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and system maintenance using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.

- Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Ensure system security, compliance, and backup strategies are maintained across environments.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues.

- Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern software delivery practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with serverless architecture and security automation.

- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
