About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Integrations Specialist (SME) to lead, design, and implement high-quality integration solutions across SAP SuccessFactors and connected enterprise applications.
This role requires deep technical expertise in SuccessFactors Integrations, hands-on experience in developing integration frameworks, and the ability to drive innovation, scalability, and performance optimization.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, provide mentorship to project teams, and ensure delivery of best-in-class integration practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Integration Architecture & Design :
- Design end-to-end integration solutions for SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Learning, Compensation, etc.)
- Define and implement integration patterns using APIs, OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, and middleware solutions.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and performance-optimized integration design across cloud and on-premise systems.
Development & Implementation :
- Build, test, and deploy integrations using SuccessFactors Integration Center, APIs, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Implement event-driven integrations and automate data synchronization between SuccessFactors and third-party applications.
- Develop reusable components, templates, and accelerators for faster integration delivery.
Governance & Best Practices :
- Define and enforce integration standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for proactive integration support.
- Optimize integration performance and reduce technical debt.
Stakeholder Management & Mentoring :
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR, IT, and business stakeholders for integration-related decisions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
- Mentor junior integration consultants and ensure adherence to best practices.
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Integrations (APIs, Integration Center, OData, Compound Employee API).
- Proven experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and/or SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Hands-on knowledge of API management, middleware, and data transformation techniques.
- Strong command over XML, JSON, XSLT, Groovy scripting, and REST/SOAP-based services.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex integrations.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with SuccessFactors Extensions on SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud-native integrations.
- Familiarity with SAP HCM, SAP ECC, or S/4HANA integration scenarios.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for integration delivery.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP certifications in SuccessFactors or SAP CPI/BTP would be an advantage.
