Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with 7+ years of experience and a minimum of two full lifecycle implementations. This role requires deep, specialized expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly Fixed Assets (FI-AA) and Account-Based COPA.

The consultant will be responsible for configuring and supporting these critical modules, leveraging the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), driving the adoption of real-time reporting, optimizing profitability analysis using embedded analytics, and ensuring seamless period-end closing and compliance for our clients.

Job Description :

SAP S/4HANA FI-AA and COPA Configuration :

- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all configuration, design, and technical troubleshooting within SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets (FI-AA), covering the entire asset lifecycle from acquisition through depreciation, transfer, and retirement.

- Design and implement the new Asset Accounting (New AA) features, including parallel accounting, integration with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and simplified depreciation runs.

- Expertly configure and optimize Account-Based Profitability Analysis (COPA) within S/4HANA, including defining operating concerns, derivation rules, and integration points with underlying cost objects and billing processes.

- Ensure proper configuration of G/L master data, document splitting, and controlling elements to maximize the efficiency of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and enable accurate real-time data flow for both financial and management accounting purposes.

Real-Time Analytics and Integration :

- Collaborate closely with business process owners from Finance and Controlling to leverage S/4HANA's architecture for generating high-value, real-time financial and profitability insights.

- Optimize profitability reporting by designing and deploying standard and custom analytical reports utilizing S/4HANA's embedded analytics (CDS views) and integrated tools like Fiori apps.

- Design integration points between FI-AA, COPA, and other core FI/CO modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), ensuring data consistency and process integrity.

- Configure and support the use of relevant Fiori applications for end-users and management to manage asset transactions, perform COPA analysis, and review financial performance.

Financial Closing and Compliance :

- Provide expert support for period-end and year-end closing activities, specifically focusing on the technical execution and validation of depreciation runs, asset closing, and COPA allocation cycles.

- Ensure all fixed asset and profitability reporting configurations comply with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, local statutory requirements).

- Conduct deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting for complex financial postings and reconciliation issues arising from integration or period-end processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Mandatory 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO, including a minimum of 2 successful end-to-end implementations of SAP S/4HANA Finance.

- Technical Expertise : Deep functional and configuration expertise in SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets (FI-AA) and Account-Based COPA.

- Core S/4HANA : Strong understanding of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and its impact on the FI/CO data model.

- Asset Lifecycle : Proven experience with complete asset lifecycle management processes, real-time reporting, and Fiori application usage.

- Communication : Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with a strong understanding of core finance and accounting domain concepts.

Preferred Skills :

- Module Integration : Functional knowledge of integration points and configuration within SAP S/4HANA for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

- Controlling : Experience with other Controlling modules such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Internal Orders (IO).

- Migration : Experience with the SAP Asset Accounting Migration Cockpit and data migration strategies for FI-AA.

- Certifications : SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates or Controlling.

- Project Delivery : Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and readiness to join immediately.
