SAP MM/WM Consultant

Location : Pune, India

Work Mode : Hybrid / On-site (as per project requirement)

Job Description :

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to MM and WM processes.

- Configure SAP WM modules : Transfer Orders, Transfer Requirements, Putaway Strategies, Picking Strategies, Handling Unit Management, Storage Types, etc.

- Integrate WM with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Work on enhancements, support tickets, and minor/major change requests.

- Participate in cutover planning and execution during go-lives.

- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.

- Provide user training and post-go-live support.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM (major focus) and SAP MM.

- Strong knowledge of WM processes like Inbound, Outbound, Stock Transfers, and Inventory Management.

- Understanding of RF framework and integration with SAP WM.

- Familiarity with Batch Management, Handling Units, and Storage Control.

- Experience in SAP MM modules like Purchasing, Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, and Inventory Control.

- Good debugging skills and ability to read ABAP code (preferred).

- Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus.

- Exposure to S/4HANA.

- Experience working with multinational clients and global implementation/support projects.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- SAP certification in MM/WM (preferred but not mandatory).
