SAP IDM Developer/Consultant

Job Title : Senior SAP IDM Developer

Location : Pune (Hybrid 2/3 days from office)

Employment Type : Contract to Hire (C2H) 12+ Months

About the Role :

You will work closely with IT and security teams to support user lifecycle management and maintain a secure, efficient identity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build custom UI tasks, reports, and schedule jobs to perform bulk user and role management activities.

- Design and implement identity management workflows and provisioning processes.

- Develop custom connectors and integration scenarios for SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Integrate SAP IDM with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP GRC, and third-party applications.

- Implement and maintain connectors for Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and cloud services.

- Automate user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role assignments.

- Manage identity data synchronization across systems.

- Troubleshoot IDM workflows, logs, and integration issues.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP IDM Development and administration.

- Hands-on experience with SAP IDM 8.0 or higher.

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, LDAP, and IDM provisioning framework.

- Experience with custom connector development and system integration.

- Familiarity with Active Directory, SAP GRC, and cloud-based identity services.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in SAP IDM.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services.

- Understanding of Identity Federation and Single Sign-On (SSO).

- SAP IDM certification is a plus.
