Job Description

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant or Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP IBP and a leader capable of guiding teams, making critical decisions, and driving successful supply chain transformations.

This role requires a blend of deep technical IBP knowledge, strong supply chain acumen, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities) :

Subject Matter Expertise & Solution Delivery :

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules, including Demand, Supply, Inventory, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and Response & Supply.

- Analyze complex business requirements related to supply chain planning and translate them effectively into robust, scalable technical specifications and solution designs within the SAP IBP platform.

- Design and implement end-to-end IBP solutions, focusing on demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply-demand balancing.

- Provide high-level solutions to problems for your immediate team, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.


Leadership & Team Management :

- Collaborate and manage the team to ensure high performance, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery of project commitments.

- Take responsibility for team decisions, guiding technical and functional direction and resolving conflicts effectively.

- Monitor project progress meticulously and implement corrective actions to ensure the timely delivery of milestones within scope and budget.

- Actively engage with multiple teams (e.g., IT, Business, Data/Integration) and contribute on key decisions that impact the wider planning landscape.


Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing :

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions (workshops, training) to mentor junior and mid-level team members, as well as business users, thereby enhancing overall team and organizational capabilities in SAP IBP.

- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for solution design, configuration, and standard operating procedures.


Essential Qualifications & Skills (Must-Have Skills) :

- Proficiency in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) : Proven hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, and support across multiple IBP modules (e.g., IBP-Demand, IBP-Inventory, IBP-S&OP).

- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles : Deep knowledge of planning concepts such as forecasting, safety stock calculation, material requirements planning (MRP), and master data management.

- Experience with demand planning and inventory optimization : Direct experience in implementing and optimizing statistical forecasting models, consensus demand planning, and multi-stage inventory optimization using IBP functionalities.

- Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools : Practical experience integrating SAP IBP with source systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S/4HANA) using tools like SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS) or other relevant middleware.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications : Demonstrated capability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solution design.


Desired Skills (Good-to-Have) :

- Certification in SAP IBP modules.

- Experience with other SAP supply chain solutions (e.g., SAP APO, SAP S/4HANA PP/MM/EWM).

- Prior experience in a consulting environment or leading a significant transformation project.

- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
