SAP Fiori UX Designer

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

User Research and Discovery :

- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business requirements into user centered design solutions.

- Define user personas, journey maps, and user flows to illustrate and communicate user behavior and goals.

Design & Prototyping :

- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to validate and iterate on design concepts.

- Utilize and extend the SAP Fiori design system and its components to ensure a coherent and standardized user experience.

Usability Testing & Validation :

- Use insights from testing to make data-driven design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Present and articulate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders, justifying design choices based on user research and Fiori principles.

- Act as a UX advocate within the organization, promoting a user-centered design culture.

Knowledge & Standards :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in UX/UI design, SAP Fiori, and emerging technologies like SAP Build.

- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and best practices for enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Interaction Design, or a related field.

Experience : 5- 8 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer, with experience designing for SAP Fiori applications.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or SAP Build Apps).

- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, design thinking, and agile development processes.

- Experience with user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing).

- Familiarity with the technical aspects of SAP UI5 and how designs are implemented.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to think creatively and strategically while paying close attention to detail.

- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.

- Passion for creating simple, intuitive solutions for complex business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP's low-code/no-code tools (e.g., SAP Build).

- Knowledge of ABAP, SAP UI5, and Fiori Elements is a plus.

- Experience working in a large-scale, global enterprise environment.
