Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SAP Analytics Lead to spearhead the modernization of our core Financial and Supply Chain analytics capabilities.

This role requires deep expertise in SAP's financial (FI/CO) and logistics/supply chain (SD/MM/PP) data structures combined with significant hands-on experience migrating, optimizing, and building advanced analytical solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategy & Architecture : Define the technical architecture and roadmap for migrating existing on-premise SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and BusinessObjects (BO) reporting to a modern, cloud-native analytics platform on Google Cloud.

- SAP Data Expertise : Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for extracting, transforming, and modeling complex SAP data, including :

- Financials (FI/CO) : General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

- Supply Chain (S/4HANA Logistics, ECC SD/MM/PP) : Sales Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, Production Planning, and Master Data (Material, Vendor, Customer).

- Google Cloud Implementation : Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and analytical solutions using core GCP services such as :

- Data Warehousing : BigQuery (primary target for modeled SAP data).

- Data Integration/ELT : Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and/or SAP Data Services (BODS) for extraction and loading into BigQuery.

- Visualization : Integration of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) with BigQuery.

- Data Governance & Security : Implement best practices for data masking, lineage, and access control within the GCP environment.

- Solution Delivery : Lead the technical delivery of high-impact analytics projects, translating business requirements (e.g., Real-time inventory visibility, advanced CO-PA reporting) into scalable and optimized technical solutions.

- Mentorship & Best Practices : Promote data modeling standards, query optimization techniques, and CI/CD practices across the development team for both SAP and GCP environments.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Analytics.

- Deep Functional and Technical Expertise in SAP : Must have a proven track record of extracting, transforming, and modeling SAP Financial (FI/CO) and Supply Chain (SD/MM/PP) data.

- Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA data models is highly preferred.

- Strong Cloud Modernization Experience : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Expert-level knowledge of BigQuery for data modeling (star schema, data vault), query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Proficiency in data integration/ETL tools, including using Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, or a combination of BODS/other third-party tools for moving data from SAP to GCP.

- Excellent SQL skills and experience with scripting languages (Python, Java) for data transformation tasks.

- Proven ability to interact with business stakeholders to understand and refine analytical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- GCP Certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect).

- Experience integrating SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Looker with BigQuery.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) in the context of data pipelines on GCP.

- Prior experience working with SAP technologies like BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere.

- Familiarity with modern data mesh or data fabric concepts.
