Job Title : SAP FICO Consultant


Location : Pune


Experience : 5+


Employment Type : Contract


Responsibilities :


- Lead and participate in SAP FICO implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.


- Configure and customize FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Costing) to meet specific client requirements.


- Develop and deliver training programs for client end-users on the effective use of the SAP FICO system.


- Provide expert consulting and guidance to clients on best practices for using SAP FICO solutions.


- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and client satisfaction.


- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, development, and support, to ensure seamless project delivery.


- Conduct workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define scope.


- Create functional specifications and technical documentation for SAP FICO configurations and customizations.


- Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).


- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO functionality.


- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP FICO releases, features, and best practices.


- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and best practices documentation.


- Mentor and guide junior consultants, as needed.


Required Skills and Experience :


- 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting or implementation.


- Proven experience with configuring and customizing SAP FICO modules.


- Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.


- Experience in conducting requirements gathering workshops and developing functional specifications.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to manage complex projects and client relationships effectively.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


- Strong organizational and time management skills.


- Experience with data migration and integration with other systems (SAP MM, SD) is a plus
