We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with 7-8 years of dedicated experience to join our IT and Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in SAP EWM, coupled with a strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting our SAP EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. This role requires a blend of hands-on configuration, solution design, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Implementation :

- Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient SAP EWM solutions.

- Design and implement warehouse processes using standard SAP EWM functionalities (e.g., inbound processing, outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, physical inventory,

cross-docking, yard management, labor management, slotting and rearrangement).

Configuration & Customization :

- Perform comprehensive configuration in SAP EWM to meet specific business needs, including customizing warehouse structures, master data, process types, strategies (putaway, picking),

wave management, and resource management.

- Work closely with development teams (ABAP) to define technical specifications for enhancements, custom reports, interfaces, and forms where standard functionality does not suffice.

Integration :

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC/S/4HANA MM, SD, PP, QM) and external systems (e.g., automated material handling systems, carriers, third-party logistics providers).

- Experience with CIF (Customer Information Flow) and other integration technologies.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute detailed test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify, analyze, and resolve defects, ensuring the quality and stability of the EWM solution.

Support & Optimization :

- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP EWM landscapes, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization to enhance warehouse efficiency and performance.

- Stay abreast of new SAP EWM functionalities, industry best practices, and technological advancements.

Documentation & Training :

- Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.

- Conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.

Project Management & Collaboration :

- Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and progress reporting.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business users, external vendors, and

other consultants.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : 7-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Consultant, with at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementation projects.

SAP EWM Expertise :

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core SAP EWM processes (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Movements, Physical Inventory).

- Proficiency in configuring EWM master data (storage bins, activity areas, resources, warehouse products).

- Strong understanding of EWM RF framework configuration and development.

- Experience with EWM wave management, yard management, labor management, and slotting/rearrangement.

- Familiarity with integration between SAP EWM and automated warehouse systems (MFS - Material Flow System) is a plus.

SAP Core Integration :

- Solid understanding of integration points with SAP ECC/S/4HANA modules, especially MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and QM (Quality Management).

Technical Acumen :

- Ability to read and debug ABAP code, and familiarity with technical objects related to EWM (e.g., BAdIs, function modules, enhancements).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills :

- Excellent analytical capabilities to gather requirements, identify problems, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.

Communication :

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership & Teamwork :

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, mentor junior consultants, and lead small workstreams.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Certifications : SAP EWM certification is highly preferred.
