As an SAP CI-DS Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Supply Chain team, focusing on project-based activities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and support of data integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS). This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implementation & Design : Lead and participate in at least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP IBP, specifically focusing on data integration utilizing SAP CI-DS. This includes designing and building efficient and reliable interfaces.

- Architecture & Components : Apply deep understanding of SAP CI-DS architecture and its various components to develop scalable and maintainable integration solutions.

- Configuration & Setup : Proficiently set up and configure SAP Data Services Agents, ensuring seamless data flow between source systems (like SAP ECC) and SAP IBP.

- Integration Protocols : Work extensively with various integration protocols, including OData, RFC, ODBC, and FTP/S, to establish diverse data connections.

- Technical Mapping : Translate complex business requirements into clear, effective technical

solutions and detailed integration designs.

- Data Store Management : Configure and troubleshoot data stores and connections between SAP ECC (or other source systems) and SAP IBP, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning : Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within CI-DS integrations. Conduct performance tuning activities to optimize data load times and overall integration efficiency.

- Security & Connectivity : Possess knowledge of secure communication methods such as WebSocket RFC and certificate-based authentication for robust data integration.

Required Skills & Experience :

Core CI-DS Expertise :

- Demonstrated experience with at least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP IBP with a

strong focus on CI-DS.

- Deep understanding of SAP CI-DS architecture, components, and best practices.

- Proven ability in designing, developing, and deploying data interfaces using CI-DS.

- Proficiency in setting up, configuring, and managing SAP Data Services Agent.

Integration Protocols :

- Hands-on experience with OData, RFC, ODBC, FTP/S, and other common integration protocols.

- Familiarity with WebSocket RFC and certificate-based authentication for secure data transfer.

SAP IBP Knowledge :

- Basic understanding of SAP IBP planning areas, key figures, master data, and planning levels.

- Ability to configure and troubleshoot data stores and connections between SAP ECC and IBP environments.

Analytical & Problem-Solving :

- Strong analytical skills to map business requirements to technical integration solutions.

- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities for data integration processes.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
