SAP CAR Consultant :

We are hiring an experienced SAP Customer Activity Repository (SAP CAR) Consultant for our retail transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP CAR, POSDM, POSDTA, SAP Retail, and POS integrations, along with experience in support, implementation, and enhancement projects.

Position Title : SAP CAR Consultant / Specialist

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP CAR functionalities, integration with SAP Retail, and the ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance real-time data processing, analytics, and customer experience.

This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business process understanding, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Implementation :

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP CAR solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

- Implement core CAR modules such as POS Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA), Unified Demand Forecast (UDF), Inventory Visibility, and Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing (OAA).

Integration Management :

- Integrate SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Retail, SAP BW/4HANA, and third-party systems.

- Ensure seamless data flow from POS systems, e-commerce platforms, and ERP systems into CAR.

Data Management & Analytics :

- Manage real-time transactional data processing and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

- Develop and maintain analytical reports and dashboards for sales, inventory, and customer behavior insights.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for better efficiency.

- Optimize data load processes and improve system response times.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP CAR functionalities.

Compliance & Best Practices :

- Ensure solutions comply with corporate policies, industry standards, and data security regulations.

- Follow SAP best practices for configuration, customization, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in SAP Retail solutions, with at least 3 years in SAP CAR.

- Strong knowledge of CAR modules : POSDTA, UDF, OAA, Inventory Visibility.

- Proficiency in SAP HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and data integration techniques.

- Experience with SAP Fiori apps related to CAR.

- Understanding of retail business processes, omnichannel strategies, and customer analytics.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail and SAP BW/4HANA.

- Knowledge of machine learning integration for demand forecasting.

- Familiarity with cloud-based deployment of SAP CAR.
