SAP Business Warehouse Consultant

Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex BW data models, including InfoCubes, DataStore Objects (DSOs), and MultiProviders.

- Develop and maintain BW extractors, transformations, and load processes (ETL).

- Create and optimize BW queries and reports using BEx Analyzer, Analysis for Office, and other reporting tools.

- Design and implement BW solutions that integrate with SAP WM modules, providing real-time and historical data analysis.

- Develop custom extractors and transformations to extract data from WM modules, including inventory management, goods movements, and warehouse operations.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy between BW and WM systems.

- Understand retail business processes and data requirements, including sales, inventory management, and supply chain.

- Develop BW solutions that address specific retail challenges, such as demand forecasting, stock optimization, and customer segmentation.

- Provide expert advice on how to leverage BW data to improve retail operations and decision-making.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior BW consultants.

- Mentor team members on BW development best practices and SAP WM integration.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Manage BW implementation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business requirements and provide regular project updates.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.

- Optimize BW system performance, including query performance and data load times.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and data inconsistencies.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience in SAP BW design, development, and implementation.

- Strong knowledge of BW data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting tools.

- Proficiency in ABAP for BW development.

- Strong understanding of BW on HANA.

- Deep understanding of SAP WM modules and processes.

- Experience in integrating BW with SAP WM.

- Knowledge of WM data structures and tables.

- Strong understanding of retail business processes and data requirements.

- Experience in developing BW solutions for the retail industry.

- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.

- Experience with database management systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA BW/4HANA.

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

- Experience with SAP Fiori.

- Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- SAP BW and/or WM certifications
