Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SAP BI/BW Tester to join our Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehouse team as a contractor for Vodafone. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data. You'll be responsible for validating the end-to-end data lifecycle, from extraction and transformation to reporting, to guarantee data integrity, system performance, and compliance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Testing SAP BW/4HANA Solutions : Design, develop, and execute test cases for SAP BW/4HANA solutions. This includes validating data extraction, data modeling, query performance, and the integrity of process chains.

- Data Validation : Ensure the accuracy of data flows by testing BW extractors, DSOs, InfoCubes, Composite Providers, and Open Hub destinations. You'll be responsible for validating both master data and transactional data to ensure consistency and correctness.

- Quality Assurance : Perform regression testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across various layers of the BI landscape to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.

- Reporting & Analytics Validation : Validate the accuracy and performance of reports and dashboards by testing SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reports and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards and KPIs.

- ETL Process Monitoring : Monitor and validate the successful execution of BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) and IS (Information Steward) jobs and other ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure timely and complete data loads.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect logs, and detailed reports on test execution results.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Experience : A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP BI/BW testing.

- Education : Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.

- Technical Expertise : Proven hands-on experience with BW/4HANA architecture, including a strong understanding of its data flows, extractors, and process chains.

- Tool Proficiency : Experience in SAC, BOBJ, BODS, and IS job monitoring. Proficiency with test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA, or Solution Manager is required.

- Core Competencies : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have :

- Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.

- Automation : Knowledge or experience with test automation for BI pipelines.

- DevOps : Familiarity with CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Cross-Module Knowledge : Exposure to cross-module testing and data validation with source systems like ECC/S4.

- Industry Experience : Previous experience working with a data warehouse or BI environment within the telecom industry.
