Job Description

Skill Set Required :

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis administration.

- Strong expertise in Upgrades and Migrations (OS/DB migrations, SAP version upgrades, Unicode conversions).

- Experience working in complex environments with multiple SAP systems and extensive third-party integrations.

- Proficiency in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setup, configuration, and maintenance.

- Hands-on experience in SAP system installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP applications, database, and OS-level issues.

- Good understanding of SAP security concepts, authorizations, and transport management.

- Experience in managing SAP HANA and other databases (Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud-based SAP deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- SAP Basis Administration Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems across environments (Development, QA, Production).

- Upgrades & Migrations Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

- Performance Optimization Monitor system health and optimize performance for SAP applications and databases.

- HA/DR Management Implement and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.

- System Integration Support Manage SAP environments with multiple integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity.

- Security & Compliance Maintain SAP security standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Issue Resolution Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.

- Documentation Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for all activities.

- Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams including application, infrastructure, and database teams.
