Job Title : SAP ABAP S/4HANA Developer

Location : Pune

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP S/4HANA Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ABAP development, with significant experience in an S/4HANA environment.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and efficient SAP solutions, contributing to critical business processes.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP solutions within the S/4HANA landscape, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Lead and execute development activities for various RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms), ensuring efficient and effective solutions.

- Develop and enhance SAP functionalities using ABAP Objects, classes, and Business Add-Ins (BADIs).

- Design, configure, and implement SAP Workflows and Flexible Workflows to automate and streamline business processes.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements, analyze technical specifications, and propose effective ABAP solutions.

- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ABAP programs to ensure optimal system performance and stability.

- Utilize and be proficient in Eclipse ABAP Development Tools (ADT) for all development activities.

- Document technical designs, development specifications, and testing procedures thoroughly.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing ABAP programs and functionalities.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices, particularly within the S/4HANA ecosystem.

- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migration projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum of 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- At least 2 years of specific working experience within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

- Overall experience between 6 to 9 years.

Technical Expertise :

- Proven expertise in ABAP development, including extensive experience with:

- RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).

- ABAP Objects, classes, and BADIs (Business Add-Ins).

- Strong experience with SAP Workflows and Flexible Workflows, including design, configuration, and implementation.

- Proficiency in Eclipse ABAP Development Tools (ADT).

- Familiarity with new ABAP programming models for S/4HANA (e.g., ABAP CDS Views, OData services, RAP) is a significant plus.

- Experience with Fiori/UI5 integration is also a plus.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
