We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of development, support, or implementation experience to join our reputed client in Pune - Kharadi. This role requires mandatory technical expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming and OData services, coupled with functional experience in SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) projects. We are prioritizing candidates who can join the team quickly, with a notice period of within 1 month.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and implement highly robust and scalable solutions using SAP ABAP across various modules.

- Utilize ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming concepts to develop and enhance complex business logic and custom applications.

- Develop and maintain OData services for seamless integration between SAP systems and external applications (e.g., Fiori, mobile applications).

HCM Focus and Implementation :

- Apply functional and technical expertise gained from working on SAP HCM projects to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment.

- Provide expert support and maintenance for existing ABAP objects and interfaces within the HCM landscape.

Support and Quality Assurance :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and defects encountered during development, testing, and production support phases.

- Ensure all developed code adheres to the client's coding standards, performance guidelines, and security best practices.

Qualifications

- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.

- Core Technical Skills (Mandatory) : Strong and proven experience in ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming.

- Integration Skills (Mandatory) : Mandatory experience in developing and managing OData services.

- Domain Experience (Mandatory) : Prior experience working on SAP HCM projects (implementation, development, or support).

- Availability : Must be able to join the client within a 1 month notice period.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with modern ABAP development tools (ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse).

- Knowledge of other SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, Proxies).

- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development concepts (consumed via OData).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex ABAP issues.
