SAP ABAP Developer - Business Process Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned SAP ABAP Developer with extensive expertise in SAP Business Process Automation (BPA) to join our team in Bengaluru for a full-time position.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and efficient automation solutions across various SAP modules, significantly enhancing our business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.

- Implement and manage SAP Business Process Automation workflows utilizing advanced tools such as SAP BTP Process Automation, SAP Cloud Platform Workflow, or SAP Intelligent RPA.

- Collaborate closely with functional consultants to meticulously translate complex business requirements into clear, precise, and effective technical specifications.

- Optimize and automate manual business processes across various SAP modules, including but not limited to Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Human Capital Management (HCM).

- Integrate BPA solutions seamlessly with both SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging technologies like REST/SOAP APIs and OData services.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex ABAP programs and workflow-related issues efficiently, providing timely resolutions.

- Ensure strict compliance with development standards, performing performance tuning and code optimization to maintain system efficiency and stability.

- Provide comprehensive production support and ongoing maintenance for existing applications and automated workflows.

Required Skills :

Proficiency in SAP ABAP, including expertise in :

- Reports (ALV, Classical)

- BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces)

- BADIs (Business Add-Ins)

- Enhancements (User Exits, Enhancement Spots)

- IDocs (Intermediate Documents)

- SmartForms and Adobe Forms

Hands-on experience with SAP Business Process Automation (BPA) tools, such as :

- SAP BTP Workflow Management

- SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (iRPA)

- SAP Process Automation (Cloud Studio)

- Strong understanding of OData, REST/SOAP services, and integration concepts via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, including experience with customization and extension of Fiori applications.

- Sound knowledge of at least one core SAP module: MM, SD, FI, or HCM.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to the SAP BTP development environment.

- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture using technologies like SAP Event Mesh or Kafka.

- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
