Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce B2B Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on experience in the Salesforce platform, specializing in Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze). This role requires a technical leader who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and secure B2B digital commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Design : Lead the technical design and architectural blueprint for large-scale Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

- Technical Leadership : Serve as the primary technical authority for the B2B Commerce platform, guiding development teams on best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.

- Implementation & Development : Actively participate in hands-on development and configuration using standard Salesforce platform technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, etc.) with a focus on extending and customizing the B2B Commerce platform.

- Integration Expertise : Design and oversee complex integrations between Salesforce B2B Commerce and external systems (e.g., ERP, OMS, Payment Gateways, MDM) using various integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Middleware).

- Code Review & Standards : Establish and enforce development standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and manage technical debt to ensure a high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solution.

- Performance Tuning : Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues within the B2B Commerce platform and related integrations.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and elegant solutions.

- Mentorship : Mentor and coach development teams on B2B Commerce features, platform capabilities, and advanced Salesforce development practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Total Experience : 10+ years of extensive experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on development, architecture, and consulting roles.

- B2B Commerce Expertise : Strong, hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze). Must possess deep knowledge of the B2B Commerce data model, pricing engine, cart, checkout, and order management processes.

- Salesforce Platform : Expert proficiency in core Salesforce development technologies :

a. Apex (Synchronous and Asynchronous)

b. Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Aura Components

c. Visualforce

d. Salesforce Integrations (APIs, Platform Events)

- Architectural Skills : Proven ability to define technical architecture, including data modeling, security design, and solution component design, specifically within a B2B e-commerce context.

- Data Migration & Deployment : Experience with data migration strategies and comprehensive CI/CD and deployment processes for large Salesforce orgs.

- Consulting & Communication : Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Certifications (Preferred) : Active Salesforce certifications, especially Salesforce B2B Commerce Developer/Architect and Application/System Architect.
