About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with 3+ years of experience to help design, build, and scale our backend systems. You will play a critical role in shaping the platform architecture, making key technical decisions, and mentoring engineers as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop core backend systems from scratch

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance services

- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications on AWS

- Make strategic technical and architectural decisions

- Implement best practices for testing, logging, monitoring, and deployments

- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

- Help build and scale the engineering team

- Mentor and guide junior developers

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Engineer

- Strong expertise in Python and Django

- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar

- Solid understanding of Docker and AWS

- Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines

- Prior experience architecting and scaling backend systems

- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive solutions independently

- Passion for building reliable, production-ready systems at scale
