Job Title : Senior Software Engineer (Backend).

This role is based in Pune and works on a hybrid model (2 - 3 days in the office). You will be required to interview in person.

About the Role :

SailPoint is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help build a new cloud-based SaaS identity analytics product. We are looking for well-rounded backend or full stack engineers who are passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products.

What you will do :

- Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java-based microservices.

- Produce technical designs and rough estimates.

- Implement features based on product requirements.

- Collaborate closely with peers on code reviews and testing.

Tech Stack & Requirements :

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.

- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong Java experience and comprehensive understanding of Java frameworks.

- Comprehensive experience with object-oriented analysis and design skills.

- Great communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with AWS cloud services.

- Experience with Continuous Delivery.

- Experience working on a Big Data or Machine Learning product.

- Experience instrumenting code for gathering production performance metrics.
