About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer / SageMaker Administrator to lead, optimize, and secure ML workflows in AWS. The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML engineering, SageMaker, AWS infrastructure, and financial services datasets. You will enable efficient model development, deployment, monitoring, and MLOps automation while ensuring strong governance, security, and cost control.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy ML models using SageMaker (notebooks, training jobs, endpoints).

- Work with data scientists to improve model performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement MLOps best practices: model versioning, CI/CD, automated deployments.

- Build and manage data pipelines for large FS datasets (banking, payments, credit, trading).

- Configure and manage SageMaker Studio, user profiles, lifecycle configs.

- Manage compute (CPU/GPU), storage, endpoints for multi-team usage.

- Implement IAM roles, permissions, and security policies with least-privilege access.

- Monitor, troubleshoot workloads and optimize costs via autoscaling and resource management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years in software/cloud/AI-ML engineering.

- 3+ years hands-on with SageMaker + AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC).

- Strong Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Experience with financial services data domains.

- Familiar with MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring.

- Strong understanding of data security, governance, and FS compliance.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
