Position Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic BI Consultant to bridge the gap between complex data and strategic business insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements, architect intuitive dashboards, and deliver robust BI solutions that drive faster, data-driven decision-making.

Your Role Responsibilities and Duties :

Data Visualization & Executive Reporting :

- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI

- Translate business requirements into clear, visually effective reporting solutions

- Build calculated fields, DAX measures, and parameters to support business logic

- Ensure dashboards are intuitive, well-structured, and aligned with stakeholder expectations

- Maintain and enhance existing reports based on business feedback and evolving needs

Data & Analytical Work :

- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data for reporting

- Build simple data models to support clean and consistent BI outputs

- Use Python for basic data preparation, automation, and ad hoc analysis tasks

- Connect BI tools to relevant data sources and ensure data accuracy across reports

- Validate report data and perform reconciliation to ensure outputs are reliable

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Core Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Tableau and / or Power BI for dashboard and report development

- Good command of SQL for querying and preparing data from relational databases

- Working knowledge of DAX for Power BI calculations and business logic

- Basic to intermediate Python skills for data handling and automation

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage

- Understanding data modelling concepts and BI best practices
