About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Rust Developer with strong backend development expertise in Python and Django. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable web applications, high-performance backend systems, and RESTful APIs, along with at least 1 year of practical Rust development experience for system-level or performance-critical modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).

- Build and optimize high-performance modules/services using Rust.

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for internal and third-party integrations.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

- Optimize application performance, memory management, and database queries.

- Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.

- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability best practices.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of software development experience.

- Strong expertise in Python 3.x and Django/Django REST Framework.

- Minimum 1+ year hands-on experience with Rust.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and API integrations.

- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

- Knowledge of async programming, concurrency, and performance optimization.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
