Ruby on Rails Developer - MongoDB

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure application features.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and application architecture.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Manage deployments and support production environments when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5 to 7 years of overall experience in software development.

- Minimum 3 years of strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.

- Solid experience in React and BackboneJS for front-end development.

- Strong understanding of MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, and web services.

- Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Skills :

- Good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Solid experience with web services.

- Understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools.

- Experience with MongoDB, Postgresql, MySQL database.

- Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent selfdirection coupled with team collaboration and open communication.

- Understanding of RESTful web services.

- Work in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere to develop new ideas that adapt to evolving user needs.

- Experience using Git / GitHub.
