Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance Ruby on Rails applications.

- Write clean, well-tested, and efficient Ruby code.

- Implement and manage PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, focusing on performance tuning and schema design.

- Develop robust and well-documented RESTful APIs.

- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team for rapid iteration and delivery.

- Mentor junior developers and participate actively in code reviews.

- Identify and resolve application performance issues and bottlenecks.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.

- Expert proficiency in Ruby and the Rails framework.

- Strong command over SQL and database management (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Solid experience implementing unit and integration tests (RSpec preferred).

- Proficiency with Git and standard development workflows.

- Experience with front-end integration (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

- Familiarity with deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and independent work ethic.

Bonus Qualifications :

- Experience with Sidekiq or other background processing tools.

- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Prior experience in a high-traffic, production environment.
