Job Description - Data Engineer

Experience : 4-7 years in data engineering or a related role.

Location preference : Pune

Key Responsibilities :

1). Build and Manage Data Solutions :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, transform, and store data from multiple sources.

- Create reliable datasets that meet business requirements and support analytics and reporting.

2). Performance Optimization :

- Ensure pipelines and datasets are efficient, scalable, and cost-effective.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data workflows to minimize downtime and latency.

3). Business Support :

- Provide accurate, timely, and well-structured data to enable informed decision-making.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

1). Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

2). Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Luigi, Prefect)..

3). Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)..

4). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). and their data services.

5). Experience with Python or another programming language for data processing.

Soft Skills :

1). Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

2). Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.

3). A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
