Contract Duration : 6 months (extendable)

Key Highlight : Proficiency in Roku with BrightScript is mandatory.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced Roku streaming applications for OTT platforms.

- Prepare and update comprehensive technical documentation.

- Design robust, scalable solutions using SceneGraph component customizations and backend integrations to deliver seamless video experiences.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Participate in the full development lifecycle : prototype, build, test, launch, and support.

- Implement best practices for performance, stability, and non-functional aspects such as logging and monitoring.

- Stay updated on Roku device/OS/IDE updates and latest streaming industry trends.

Desired Skills :

- 4+ years hands-on experience in channel design, advanced UI controls, and high-performing API integrations for Roku.

- Deep expertise in BrightScript, SceneGraph, XML configuration, and state management.

- Solid background developing custom UI, handling remote-control inputs, and delivering cross-device compatibility.

- Familiarity with Roku Ad Library, analytics integrations, and payment modules.

- Strong proficiency with build/deploy tools (VS/Eclipse with Roku plugins) and versioning (Git, SVN).

- Advanced debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
