What You'll Do :

As a Backend Developer Lead, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and scaling the backend architecture that powers our suite of web and mobile applications.

You'll lead a team of skilled backend engineers, define best practices, and ensure that our systems deliver high performance, reliability, and security at scale.

Your Responsibilities :

- Lead the backend development team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews.

- Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Golang and/or Python (Flask).

- Architect modular backend systems with a focus on performance, security, and long-term maintainability.

- Manage asynchronous workflows using Celery, RabbitMQ, or Redis to optimize task execution.

- Design and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) using SQLAlchemy or native ORM tools.

- Drive DevOps initiatives, ensuring seamless CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring across environments.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-impact features.

- Oversee system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve system efficiency and scalability.

- Foster a culture of engineering excellence through documentation, reviews, and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For :

- 5-8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

- Strong expertise in Python (Flask) and Golang, with experience in microservices architecture.

- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, and SQLAlchemy.

- Proven experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and mentor engineers.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
