Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure design & management : Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to support applications and data pipelines. Set up and maintain scalable server architectures (compute clusters, Kubernetes, serverless) to handle growing load.

- Design, implement, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure.

- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

- Manage cloud costs and perform monthly optimizations.

- Respond to and remediate incidents via on-call rotation.

- CI/CD pipeline ownership : Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable feature releases. Automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Monitoring & alerting : Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK). Set up proactive incident response for system performance and anomalies.

- Security & compliance : Harden infrastructure, manage secrets/certificates, and implement access controls/auditing to protect user data.

- Automation & tooling : Use IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) for automation. Utilize AI tools for predictive scaling and log analysis.

- Collaboration : Work with software engineers, QA, and data scientists to optimize environments and debug issues.

- Performance & cost optimization : Review system performance, right-size instances, and ensure scalability for peak loads.

Requirements :

- Experience : 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or system administration. Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure for a SaaS application is essential.

- Cloud & containers : Expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- CI/CD & automation : Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), Git, and scripting (Python, Bash).

- Monitoring & troubleshooting : Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch) and performance tuning.

- Security mindset : Understanding of cloud security (VPC, IAM, encryption) and compliance (SOC2, GDPR).

- Soft skills : Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; relevant certifications (AWS, CKA) are a plus.

- Experience with database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching (Redis).

- Experience with DevSecOps practices and chaos engineering.

- Proven track record of scaling systems from small to large user bases.
