About the Role :

- We are seeking a proactive Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer with 23 years of experience to maintain and enhance a live web application built on Ruby on Rails with a PostgreSQL database. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle developmentcovering design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenancewhile using GitHub for source control, Jira for task tracking, and AWS for hosting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintain, optimize, and extend Ruby on Rails applications.

- Manage PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, data integrity, and reliability.

- Follow SDLC process, from requirements analysis to application deployment.

- Use GitHub for code repository management, version control, and collaborative workflows.

- Handle AWS deployment and infrastructure management (EC2, S3, RDS).

- Work with Jira for sprint planning, ticket tracking, and reporting progress.

- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 23 years of experience in full-stack web development using Ruby on Rails.

- Good knowledge of the SDLC and agile methodologies.

- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL database design and optimization.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.

- Experience with AWS deployment workflows.

- Practical knowledge of GitHub for repository and version control.

Nice to Have :

- Working knowledge of frontend frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
