SDET (Playwright)

Job Description :

As an SDET (Playwright), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

You will play a key role in our testing strategy, working closely with development and product teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Playwright and a strong understanding of modern testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain robust end-to-end automation test frameworks using Playwright.

- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Perform API automation and cross-browser testing.

- Configure and manage test environments using JSON configurations.

- Utilize version control with Git and GitHub (including CLI) for code management.

- Work with project management tools like Jira and documentation platforms like Confluence.

- Explore and implement AI-driven testing tools such as Copilot or GPT to enhance testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 8- 12 years in software development or quality assurance.

- Playwright : A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.

- DevOps : Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Version Control : Proficiency with Git and GitHub (including CLI).

- API & Cross-Browser Testing : Proven experience with both API automation and cross-browser testing.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with mobile testing (Appium).

- Familiarity with CMS platforms.

- Knowledge of FIGMA, Airtable, or Accessibility Testing.

- Experience with mocking applications and GitHub workflows.
