We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver highly scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, cloud-native development, and technical leadership. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance applications while mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices. The role emphasizes hands-on development along with ownership of technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications.

- Architect and develop scalable Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

- Design RESTful APIs and ensure high performance, security, and scalability.

- Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.

- Collaborate with solution architects to define technical solutions and system architecture.

- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

- Mentor and guide a team of developers throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance improvements.

- Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD automation and containerized deployments.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.

- Ensure application security by implementing authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

- Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Drive continuous improvement through automation, testing, and engineering excellence.

Required Skills :

- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.

- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Framework.

- Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture.

- Strong expertise in Apache Kafka messaging.

- Experience building RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of Git/GitHub version control.

- Good understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

- Experience with API Gateway and service discovery.

- Exposure to Redis or distributed caching solutions.

- Knowledge of SonarQube and code quality tools.

- Experience working in large-scale Agile environments.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
