Description :
RentoMojo is India's largest furniture and appliance rental marketplace, on an IPO track, serving hundreds of thousands of customers across major Indian cities. We're building the future of asset-light living and internally, we're building the future of how a high-growth company operates. Our AI footprint already includes customer-facing chatbots, voice agents, demand forecasting and agentic workflows. Now we're turning that capability inward.
The Role :
- We're hiring AI Automation Engineers focused on one mission: automate every internal process that can be automated using AI.
- You'll partner directly with HR, finance, legal, and operations teams to identify high-impact workflows, then build LLM-powered pipelines that eliminate manual work, reduce errors, and create leverage across the organization.
- This is not traditional RPA you'll architect intelligent systems that reason, extract, classify, and generate, using frontier LLMs as a core building block.
- Your goal is measurable: hours saved, errors eliminated, processes accelerated. At an IPO-track company, every automation you ship also strengthens compliance, auditability, and process rigor.
- Design and deploy end-to-end AI automation pipelines for internal workflows HR onboarding and HRBP processes, finance/accounting reconciliation, legal contract review, internal reporting, and CRM operations
- Build agentic workflows using LangGraph and frontier LLM APIs that orchestrate multi-step business processes with human-in-the-loop checkpoints
- Extract, transform, and classify unstructured data from messy real-world sources invoices, employee documents, support tickets, compliance filings using LLM-powered pipelines
- Integrate automations with internal systems via APIs and webhooks connecting PostgreSQL, Supabase, AWS services, and third-party tools (HRIS, accounting software, CRM)
- Collaborate deeply with non-engineering stakeholders to map processes, identify automation candidates, and co-design solutions that actually get adopted
- Implement comprehensive logging, audit trails, and monitoring for all automated workflows meeting the documentation and compliance standards of an IPO-track company
- Measure and report automation impact: hours saved, error reduction, cost savings, process cycle time improvements
- Continuously evaluate new AI capabilities and identify where frontier model improvements unlock new automation opportunities
What You Bring :
- 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful work in Python
- Hands-on experience building applications with LLM APIs (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini) not just experimentation, but shipped production systems
- Proficiency in prompt engineering: few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, structured output generation, and evaluation of LLM outputs
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks for building multi-step AI workflows
- Strong API integration skills REST APIs, webhooks, data serialization, error handling, and retry logic
- Comfortable working with relational databases (PostgreSQL), caching layers (Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Demonstrated ability to work with messy, real-world data cleaning, normalizing, validating, and transforming unstructured inputs
- Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to HR managers, finance leads, and ops teams without drowning them in jargon
What Sets You Apart :
- Experience with FastAPI for building production services
- Familiarity with RAG systems embedding models, vector stores, retrieval strategies, re-ranking
- Exposure to agentic AI patterns ReAct, tool use, multi-agent orchestration
- Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Airflow) alongside custom code
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements SOC 2, GDPR awareness, PII handling
- Background in automating business processes specifically in HR, finance, or operations domains
- Experience building internal dashboards and reporting tools
- Contributions to open-source AI/automation projects
